Guest checkout and listing data
Visitors do not need accounts. An essential, HTTP-only cookie keeps a random guest checkout identifier for up to 30 days. We store its hashed identifier with submissions and orders. Receipt links contain a private access token; the access check uses its hash. Public listings show game details and creator names, not payer emails. Operator sign-in uses a private password and an HTTP-only session cookie that expires after eight hours.
Payments and reports
We retain checkout identifiers, amounts, payment status, and refund/dispute adjustments to calculate rankings and reconcile payments. Stripe processes payment information; PLAYBID does not store card numbers. Reports include a hashed guest identifier and the text you provide. Private moderation history records the acting administrator’s email, decision, note, and timestamp. A new report can reopen a previously resolved issue.
Service providers and external links
Vercel hosts the application and private artwork storage. Turso stores game listings, orders, and moderation records. Operator access uses a private session cookie. Stripe handles checkout when enabled. Imported game information comes from Roblox and Epic Games. Game thumbnails may load from Roblox or Epic Games CDNs, which receive ordinary browser requests. Playing a game takes you to an external platform.
Storage and retention
Listings, moderation notes, reports, and payment records remain stored until the operator removes them or retention is otherwise required. Uploaded game artwork is associated with your guest session and reviewed before public display. Checkout retry details, receipt email and a private receipt token are stored in your browser tab with a 24-hour validity window. Closing the tab clears that session storage. Payment emails and checkout return URLs are also retained in the saved provider request for reliable retries. Import results are cached for up to an hour. Short-lived, hashed network identifiers limit repeated requests; raw addresses are not stored by the application. The app does not add third-party advertising trackers. Hosting and authentication services may use their own operational cookies and logs.
